Jealous?!

Hello!

This weekend Anna and I went to a beautiful place called Ada Foah where the Volta Lake meets the sea! We stayed on a beach camp with the lake on one side and the sea on the other in little huts. The huts were very basic
with only a bed inside and a sand floor and they had flags painted on the door and we stayed in Germany, although right next to the UK one! We had a little mouse guest and a few crabs, although one night the mouse ate the crab on the bed, lovely!!! On Friday afternoon we got to the camp by canoe along the Volta which was sooo beautiful. On that night we were the only people there which was very peaceful, although more obrunis came on the Saturday (and some Ghanaians too!) so it was a little more lively. The camp was right next to the edge of the community and we had villagers walking past all day with things on their head going to the town so it really felt like we were in the community. On the Friday night we actually saw some men walking through the lake doing some fishing thing (not sure what, exactly, it was dark!) chanting something!

So here are some pictures!

Anna and I bought Bounty chocolate in the Koala supermarket on sale (1 cedi instead of around 3!!) and decided to star in our very own bounty advert with the coconuts!!

The toilet and shower block!! It was very basic!

Jealous yet?!?!

So, love to everyone, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine!
